Dufferin-Peel alumni, Jesse Jones and Alexi Couto, headline Student Voice Leadership Conference
On March 1, Dufferin-Peel Catholic secondary school student leaders will gather at the Mississauga Grand Convention Centre for a Student Voice Leadership Conference.
The theme of the conference is RISE (Respect, Inspire, Support, and Empower). The event will feature two Dufferin-Peel alumni as guest speakers: Jesse Jones (St. Augustine S.S.), President and Founder of TEN81 Lifestyle Inc., and rising music artist, Alexi Couto (Cardinal Ambrozic C.S.S.). More than 200 students are expected to attend the event which will include a panel discussion on the transition to post-secondary life, followed by carousel of SpeakUp Projects.
